		<abstract>The constraint satisfaction neural network  CSNN, proposed by Chen is here implemented in a massively parallel SIMD machine. The CSNN can be viewed as a set of interconnected neurons, whose topology and connections are used to represent constraints in a Constraint Satisfaction Problem  CSP. The neural network ierates until it converges to a consistent state. In this state all constraints are satisfied and the solution outlines the segmented areas. This region segmentation technique has been applied to images and is very promising.</abstract>
